This is a walk which combines history, architecture and culture. Starting at the Brandenburg Gate we will admire the city gate and the Pariser Platz. After a visit to the Memorial to the assassinated European Jews we will stroll along the avenue Unter den Linden. There you will meet Frederick 2nd on horseback, the Opera theatre, the University, the St. Hedwig Church and the Memorial to the Book Burning. With a side step we will reach the Gendarmenmarkt, the most charming square in the old city centre. From there we will return to the boulevard Unter den Linden to meet the New Guardhouse and the Old Armoury. Passing the Schlossbrücke we will arrive on the island formed by the river Spree to have a sight of most important historical buildings as the Royal Palace, the Museums and the Berlin Dom.
