Residence in Wurzburg is a Baroque-style palace erected between 1720-1744. It was inscribed into UNESCO list in 1981. Its the biggest attraction is the world-largest fresco painted on the staircase by Italian master, Giovanni Tiepolo.
Palace Augustusburg is located near Colony. It is a great example of Rococo-style residence from the 18th century. It was a residence for official guests of RFN government since 1949. It was inscribed into UNESCO list in 1984.
