In October evenings, Berlin is flooded with the sea of colours. The buildings, squares, main attractions, historic monuments light up in various motifs. The first Festival was held in 2004 and it is one of the best known light art festivals in the world now. Parts of the city are changed into a huge scene, where artful displays are presented. The event lasts about ten nights during which there are many other special events. Special Show Cases offer special interactive zone, extraordinary visual concerts, interactive photo stations, Live Video-Lightpainting-Shows. In 2015 the Berlin Cathedral was illuminated with 12 different motifs, the facade of the Hotel de Rome - a far eastern style. On the Potsdamer Platz, there was presented an impressive installation of the House of Cards. “Angels of Freedom” at the Marlene-Dietrich-Platz were the another attractions.
